كيف يعمل الواتساب؟
يوجد مقطع فيديو تقني على موقع YouTube لمطور برامج WhatsApp Rick Reed حول البنية التحتية لبرنامج WhatsApp. في المنطق الأساسي، WhatsApp هو برنامج دردشة حيث يمكنك التواصل مع اتصالات مشفرة في شكل كتابي وصوتي ومرئي في شكل دردشة من شخص إلى شخص أو من شخص إلى عدة أشخاص أو دردشة جماعية. عند تثبيت تطبيق WhatsApp لأول مرة على الجهاز، فإنه يطابق رقم هاتف الشخص وحساب WhatsApp بحيث يتم تسجيل كل رقم في النظام كمستخدم. وبما أن أرقام الهواتف فريدة من نوعها في جميع أنحاء العالم، فلا حاجة إلى حماية إضافية بكلمة مرور أثناء مرحلة التسجيل.
تتم عملية التحقق من الحساب من خلال رسالة نصية قصيرة يتم إرسالها إلى ذلك الهاتف. عندما يتصل جهازك بخوادم WhatsApp لأول مرة، يتم إنشاء رمز مميز (رمز الأمان) فريد لرقم هاتفك باستخدام رمز التحقق عبر الرسائل القصيرة الذي تتلقاه. يستخدم البرنامج بروتوكول XMPP مخصص في بنيته التحتية. وقد تم استخدام هذا البروتوكول أيضًا في الماضي بواسطة برامج مثل ICQ وAIM وYahoo Chat وGoogle Talk. لإضافة جهات اتصال تلقائيًا إلى قائمة جهات اتصال WhatsApp الخاصة بالمستخدم، يقوم WhatsApp تلقائيًا باسترداد جميع أرقام الهواتف من دفتر عناوين الجهاز ومقارنتها بقاعدة بيانات مستخدمي WhatsApp المركزية. بهذه الطريقة، يمكن الاتصال بجهات اتصال WhatsApp بأرقام الهواتف المحفوظة.
