Today we're introducing new ways to customize and enrich the photos and videos you share with friends and family around the world. With WhatsApp's new camera features, you can now write, draw and add emoticons to photos and videos to express yourself.
Whenever you take a new photo or video, or share a photo from your phone, you'll automatically see new editing tools. Sometimes a simple picture like a big red heart or a favorite emoticon you draw to show someone how much you miss them is worth a thousand words. You can also add text and change its color and font.

WhatsApp camera feature now supports flash option on the front camera so you can take perfect selfies. Brighten your screen and improve the quality of your photo in low light and at night. We've also added a handy zoom feature for recording video. Just slide your finger up and down to zoom in and out. To switch between front and rear cameras, all you have to do is double-tap the screen.
