Find Messages Faster With Chat Filters

Opening WhatsApp and finding the right conversation should be a fast, smooth and simple experience. As people do more and more on WhatsApp, being able to access your messages quickly is more important than ever. That's why today we're introducing new Chat Filters so you can find your messages without having to scroll through your entire inbox.

To start with; You can choose from three filters, All, Unread, Groups, which will appear at the top of your chat list and can be selected with a single tap:

All: The default view of all your messages.

Unread: Perfect for when you want to see conversations you've missed or need to reply to. Shows messages you've marked as unread or haven't opened yet so you can prioritize your replies.

Groups: Thanks to this highly requested feature, all your group chats will now be organized in one place. From your weekly family dinner conversation to vacation plans, you'll be able to find all your favorites more easily. Subgroups of communities will also appear here.

We believe filters will make it easier for people to stay organized, find their most important conversations, and navigate messages more efficiently.
